Short Fuse: Shred The Dead
San Francisco’s very own ‘Short Fuse’ have come a long way since forming from the ashes of a previous project in 2005 and have finally finished their second album entitled “Shred The Dead”, which is available as of May 9th. Knowing most of the guys since I was 12, I am extremely proud and admire all the hard work they’ve put forth in order to make the band what it is today. ‘Shred The Dead’ is 12 tracks of straight up grindcore metal that will make your ears bleed and wanna punch the person next to you.
Short Fuse is no stranger to playing in front of thousands of people at festivals like Locobazooka, MetalFest, LocoFest and sharing the stage with national acts such as In This Moment, Hed PE, Suicide Silence and many more. This year they are playing California MetalFest on opening day, May 15th at the Fox Theatre in Pomona, CA along side Fear Factory, WhiteChapel, Job For A Cowboy and many others.
Bottom line is if you wanna hear some grind style metal that raises the bar of what this genre is supposed to sound like from one of the hardest working bands ever then head on over to their MySpace and buy their new album and check out their music both old and new. You won’t be disappointed.
