Lucid Fly: Women Do It Better

I am a huge supporter of female fronted bands, any genre, it’s always good to see women succeed in a mostly male driven field such as the music industry. I recently came across a band named Lucid Fly and was pleased to see their front-woman Nikki Layne was a super sweet, down to earth and ridiculously talented individual who sings her lungs out on a nightly basis.

Musink 2013

It is curious as to why artists and shops from as far away as Hawaii, Massachusetts, Texas, Indiana and Philadelphia, PA make it a point to come to Musink. There is the exposure of having your work and art seeing by a broader fan base, but also the increase in customer base due to the fact that much of the crowd, passer-bys and on-lookers are there for the music.
