Sparks The Rescue kicks off their U.S. tour with Mayday Parade today in Augusta, GA. Supporting the Portland, ME quintet’s debut album Eyes To The Sun, the band follows the dates with a run on Vans Warped Tour this summer. The band is also J-14′s Hot Band Of The Week – check it out here!

SPARKS THE RESCUE – Alex Roy (vocals), Mike Naran (guitar), Toby McAllister (guitar), Ben Briggs (bass), Nathan Spencer (drums) – Infusing their own brand of pop-rock with a heavy dose of sunshine, Portland, ME’s Sparks The Rescue has had a huge year since signing with Fearless Records in 2009. The band recently won MTVU / Garnier’s “I Want My Music On MTV” contest, earning them an appearance at MTV’s Woodie Awards. The band’s video for “We Love Like Vampires” received homepage placement on YouTube, AOL, JSYK.com, J-14.com and Alloy.com, and the band has had music placements on MTV’s Real World Cancun and The Hills. The Mayday Parade dates follows past tours with All Time Low, The All-American Rejects, Every Avenue and Hit The Lights.
