After an extremely successful stint on the Spring 2010 AP Tour, the Arizona power pop band is set to take the industry by storm this summer. They are joining on all-star lineup at this year’s annual Vans Warped Tour, have their hit single “Chelsea” available on the popular Rock Band Network, and were the featured performers at the CBS College Sports Network’s Alt Games in May.

One of the most popular songs during The Summer Set’s performance during the AP Tour was a cover of the Taylor Swift hit “You Belong to Me.” When the band was asked to perform at the annual Hoodwink Festival in New Jersey, a concert featuring bands performing sets covering the music of other bands, they selected the music of Taylor Swift with no hesitation. The band covered six of Swift’s most popular songs.

After a quick stop back home in Arizona, The Summer Set headlined the closing celebration for the CBS College Sports Network’s Alt Games at San Diego’s Wave House on May 15th. The competition and closing day were filmed for airing on CBS Sports in June and will feature The Summer Set’s performance. While fans wait for the band to go back on tour, they can find “Chelsea”, the first single off Love Like This, available now on the Rock Band Network for Xbox Live users. Fans can emulate any of the band members as they play along to the hit song.

The Summer Set will join the 16th annual Vans Warped Tour this summer on the Glamour Kills Clothing Stage along with Alesana, Attack Attack!, I See Stars, and VersaEmerge amongst others. The band will partake in the entire tour which kicks off on June 25th in California and ends August 15th in Oregon.
