Having dreams, vision and aspirations is not new, but to achieve exactly what you set out to do, overcoming major obstacles on the way and come up with a finished product like 3/13; that honors the metal gods in such a unique way is a tribute to the very message Weitzel delivers in his music.
In March of 2010 Hollywood Music Magazine broke the current project(s) of Randy Weitzel. The excitement was growing as the project move forward quickly when abruptly things were put on hold…it was a matter of life and death. Early June 12, 2010, Randy was rushed to the hospital.
“I think that’s one of the beautiful gifts involved in the music world is that we can touch somebody or help somebody with our lyrics and not even know that we are doing it. That’s something that is a really intense, extra, and beautiful part to it all.”
Day one of metal heads Christmas, 4th of July and NYE rolled into one broke the adage of “the fantasy is better than the reality,” as the summer tour delivered a fun-filled day of kick ass music and good times.
The Rockstar Mayhem 2010 bands and dates have been announced and as with the previous two Mayhems, it is a powerhouse line-up, capped with main stage performances by Korn, Lamb of God, Rob Zombie and Five Finger Death Punch.
