THULIUM

5 July 2010 No Comment

London’s very own ‘Thulium’ were a pleasant surprise to my ears when I received their newly released album “69”. Front man Boubou’s voice is a cross of  Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin and HIM’s Ville Valo. Epic guitar solos and heart wrenching lyrics are what make this album substantionally one of the best I’ve heard this year so far.

The love “ballad” ’90 Days of Sorrow’, is my favorite track on the album. A modern day love song with true feeling and meaning. Boubou’s vulnerability truly shows in this song. Having recently signed with AKA Music, Thulium might be one of the best representing bands coming out of London.
