Hollywood Music Presents
September 4, 2010 is the date that Orange County will be flipped on its ear as Hollywood Music presents Gemini Syndrome, My Elysian and Think Tank at The Slidebar in Downtown Fullerton.
Gemini Syndrome – One of those perfect storms that come along in music every now and then, to create a package that works wonders. By no means is this is “local” band trying to make it in the scene. Produced by Mikey Doling, even their live show lends credence to the fact that this is a polished product, ready to conquer. Their songs are hook after hook and are radio friendly tunes that connect with listeners, regardless of what genre they follow. That is the key; this is not a metal band or pop band or any one thing. They incorporate many influences to develop their own sound that crosses over musical genres. As well produced as they are, their live performance is every bit of what is on their recordings and so much more. http://geminisyndrome.com/
My Elysian-Fronted by the angelic voice of Alison Fried that will have you swooning, yet at the same time you will have your socks rocked by the musicianship and showmanship of guitarist Alexxx Reyes, drummer Mario G. and bassist Rice. Coming from San Diego, My Elysian will be giving the OC a special treat and undoubtedly a whole new fan base will be created. I have yet to see someone after seeing this band that didn’t walk away just amazed. Undoubtedly a performance you don’t want to miss. http://www.myspace.com/myelysian
Think Tank-Performing in their own backyard, the OC funk, rock electronica sound of Think Tank is going to hypnotize the Slidebar crowd with their raw harmonies and funky grooves. Seasoned performers all over Southern California they have continued to develop their sound always retaining an edge. You can see their latest video for the single “Arcadia” on HMTV. http://hollywoodmusic.tv/think-tank
Mark the date. No matter where you are in Southern California, you will not want to miss this chance to see these 3 bands playing together. The Slidebar is OC’s most happening spot and September 4th, Hollywood Music will be taking that to a new level.
