Sangre: New Year, Heavier Music

7 January 2012 No Comment

A band that I’ve seen continuously evolve and develop their own unique blend of metal in the 4 years that I’ve known them hails from the Inland Empire. Sangre are some of the hardest working group of men out there who throw their all into their music. This is what they do, it comes first and always will.  “The Great Tribulation” is their latest album and heaviest yet. They are in your face, smart musicians who make themselves known with material that can’t be compared or assimilated to any other band. That’s a must have quality for all bands now a days if you ask me.

12 songs of non stop, mind racing riffs and harrowing vocals, Sangre have put out some of their best work to date. “Forever I” and “Me Vale Madre” have always been my favorite tracks from them. If you haven’t seen them live, I highly suggest you do. Bands like Sangre are our only hope at keeping the music scene alive. I know we all agree that it has been diminishing over the years but with bands like this, we have a chance at making sure future bands have good inspiration and reference in order to create their own sound.

Bottom line is, check Sangre out. Hit up their Facebook, buy their album, watch their videos on YouTube and attend one of their live shows all over LA and Riverside County. Make sure to tell them you heard of them from HollywoodMusic!
